Abbreviated as ND, are naturally formed within the earth at high-pressure and high-temperature conditions. Because of its extremely rigid lattice, it can be contaminated by a few types of impurities such as boron and nitrogen.

MN offers diamond drawing dies with natural diamond (ND) blanks inside as a high quality and durable product for drawing ferrous and non-ferrous wires .00028-.0787″ (0.007 to 2.00 mm). Smaller and larger sizes are available by request.

PCD Polycrystalline Diamond Wire Drawing Dies

1. PCD Wire drawing dies are commonly used to reduce the diameter of various ferrous and non-ferrous rods and wires. Applications include high, medium and low voltage cables, automotive, medical wire,superconducting, bonding, and welding wires.

2. MN polycrystalline diamond drawing dies (PCD dies) give the wire manufacturer the ability to maintain uniform wire roundness and minimize material usage.

3. Polycrystalline diamond dies enable a long drawing die life even at high process speeds and high demanding applications.

MD Mono Diamond Wire Dies

Synthetic single crystal diamonds, also called synthetic mono crystal diamond and abbreviated as SSCD or SMCD or MCD or MD, are man-made diamonds, manufactured under controlled conditions and are free from impurities, inclusions and cracks. These tightly controlled quality aspects lead to predictable and constant die performance.The SSCD blanks that we uses are all <111> oriented with a divergence in the orientation less than 1°.   The result is a close-to-round wear pattern for each die, a quality aspect that previously could only be obtained in small natural diamond dies.

SMCD MD Synthetic Mono Crystalline Diamond Dies

These tightly controlled quality aspects lead to a more predictable and constant die performance than that of a natural diamond die.

MN offers diamond drawing dies with synthetic single crystal diamond blanks for drawing ferrous and non-ferrous wires from 0.020 to 0.600 mm. Larger sizes are available upon request.

The SSCD blanks that MN uses are all <111> oriented. The result is a close-to-round wear pattern for each die, a quality aspect that previously could only be obtained in small natural diamond dies,The SMCD is suitable for the same applications as natural diamond dies

Blank dimensions of SSCD drawing dies are more consistent than natural diamond blanks, ensuring more predictable recut performance than natural diamond drawing dies.
