Natural diamonds, abbreviated as ND, are naturally formed within the earth at high-pressure and high-temperature conditions. Because of its extremely rigid lattice, it can be contaminated by a few types of impurities such as boron and nitrogen.

ND dies are similar to SSCD and are an excellent option for manufacturing fine and ultra-fine wires. Natural diamond dies provide superior quality, hardness, accuracy and a long service life for each die. They yield precision wire with an excellent surface finish, enabling high drawing performance and low power usage due to low friction.
